How the Valentine link generator works

No coding and no app. Your Valentine proposal link opens an interactive yes-or-no website made just for one person, with your question in big letters and two buttons. Only one of them behaves.

  1. Write your names

    Your name tells them who’s asking. Add theirs and the question becomes “Will you be my Valentine, Sam?”

  2. Choose how to ask

    Pick the wording, the colours, how the No button misbehaves and the celebration. Add a secret note they only see after Yes.

  3. Send it and wait

    Share the link in any app or as a QR code. Keep your tracker link: it shows when they open it and when they say Yes.

What they’ll see

A question, two buttons, and a No that won’t cooperate

When they open your link, they see your question in big letters with your name above it. Then it turns into a tiny will-you-be-my-Valentine game: the question is serious, the No button isn’t.

  • The No button runs away. On a phone it slides off as their thumb gets close; on a laptop it dodges the mouse. Or choose “Are you sure?”, where No keeps asking while Yes grows bigger.
  • Yes sets off a celebration: a heart shower, confetti or fireworks, your pick.
  • Your secret note appears after they say Yes, like the plan for the day or a line only they’ll get.
  • They can answer you in one tap with a ready-made WhatsApp reply.

What happens to your names and your note

A Valentine link should be a nice surprise, not a worry. Here is exactly what the site does.

  • Nothing to install, no login. The link opens a normal web page on willyoubemyvalentine.fun. It never asks for a password, a payment or a download.
  • Only your first name is saved on our server, with an open count and whether they pressed Yes, so your tracker can show them.
  • Their name, the question and your note live in the link itself. They aren’t saved in our database; your note is encoded so it isn’t readable at a glance in the link.
  • No ads on their page. The person you ask sees only your question.

How does a “Will you be my Valentine” link work?

You type your name (and theirs, if you like), choose the question and the style, and press Create. You get two links: one to send, and a private tracker for you. When they open the first one, they see your question with a Yes button and a No button that runs away. When they press Yes, they get a celebration, and your tracker changes to “They said YES”.

Is it really free?

Yes. The classic link, every wording, colour, No-button style, the secret note and the tracker are free, with no sign-up. There’s an optional Premium link for ₹99 (one payment) that adds your photo together, a longer letter and a live dashboard, but you never need it to send a Valentine.

Can they actually press No?

Not really, and that’s the joke. With “Runs away” and “Teleports” the button moves before they can reach it, and “Shrinks” makes it tiny. With “Are you sure?” they can press it, but it just asks again while Yes gets bigger. If someone really means no, they’ll tell you in person, and that’s fine too.

How do I know if they said yes?

Open your tracker link. It shows whether the link has been opened, how many times, and when they pressed Yes. It checks again every 30 seconds while it’s open. Links you made on this phone or computer are also listed under the creator, so you can find the tracker again.

Can I change the question?

Yes. Pick one of the ready-made wordings, like “Would you be my Valentine?” or “Will you be mine?”, or choose “Write my own” and type any question up to 80 characters, like “Will you go on a date with me?”.

Does it work on iPhone, Android, Instagram and WhatsApp?

It works in any modern browser, including the ones built into WhatsApp, Instagram, Snapchat and Messenger. There’s nothing to install. You can also send it by email or text, or print the QR code on a card.

What is the secret note?

A short message, up to 200 characters, that only appears after they press Yes. Use it for the plan (“Dinner on Saturday at 7”), an inside joke, or just “I knew you’d say yes”.

If you made the link on this device, it’s listed under “Your links on this device” in the creator. We don’t have accounts or your email, so we can’t look it up for you otherwise. Next time, copy the tracker link somewhere safe.
