The classic folded note with “☐ Yes ☐ No”, a big sign to hold up, or a sheet of eight mini cards for class. Add names, pick a style, then print it or save it as a picture. Add a QR code and they can answer online too.

The classic note
Why the “Yes / No” note still works
The folded note with two boxes is the oldest trick in the book: a question on paper, passed across a classroom, with the answer one pencil tick away. It works because it’s small, a little bit brave, and it gives the other person an easy way to answer. And they can keep it.
To deliver it:
- Fold it small. Fold the note in half, then in half again. Write their name on the outside.
- Put it somewhere they’ll find it alone: a locker, a lunchbox, a book they’re reading, a coat pocket.
- Add a pen taped to the note, so they can tick the box right away.
- Far away? Add the QR code. They can scan it and answer on your online Valentine link, and your tracker shows the Yes.
Mini cards for a class Valentine exchange
The “8 mini cards” sheet fits eight small cards on one A4 or Letter page, each with the question and blank “To” and “From” lines. Print as many sheets as the class needs, cut along the dashed lines and let the kids write the names. If you fill in the From box, every card on the sheet is signed for you. If you add sweets, check the school’s rules about food and allergies first.
Printing tips
- Use card stock (160–250 gsm, 65–90 lb) for signs and mini cards so they don’t flop.
- The Kraft paper style looks best printed on brown kraft paper; Black ink is kindest to your printer and looks great on coloured paper.
- For a big poster, save the PNG and print it at a copy shop on A3 or larger.

Is the printable free?
Yes. Everything is made in your browser, with no sign-up and no watermark. Print as many as you like.
How do I get a PDF?
Press “Print it” and choose “Save as PDF” (or “Microsoft Print to PDF”) as the printer.
What paper size is it?
The note fits a half page when printed on A4 or US Letter, the sign prints landscape, and the mini cards fill a full A4 or Letter page. Choose “Fit to page” if your printer cuts off an edge.
What does the QR code do?
It opens the online Valentine link you paste in, with its runaway No button. When they answer there, your tracker shows it. We don’t add any tracking to the printout itself.
