Privacy Policy

WillYouBeMyValentine.fun (“we”, “us”) offers a free Valentine link maker, free e-cards, a printable note and sign maker, versions for Galentine’s Day, prom and Mother’s Day, and an optional paid Premium link. This page explains what information each of them uses, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

1. What we collect

Free Valentine links

• Saved on our server: the name you type as the sender, a random link ID, when the link was made, how many times it was opened and whether and when Yes was pressed.
• Kept in the link itself, not in our database: the other person’s name, the question, the colours and styles you pick, and your secret note (the note is encoded, not encrypted). Like any web address, the full link can appear in our host’s standard server logs and in the browser history of anyone who opens it.

E-cards

• The names, the message and the design you choose, plus whether the card was opened and answered. These are saved on our server so the card link can show them.

Printable notes and signs

• Made entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to us.

Premium links (paid)

• The sender and recipient names, the letter, the theme and the photo you upload. The photo is stored in our database so the link can show it.
• For each time the link is opened: the date and time, the approximate city and country, and a short device description (for example “Android phone”). City and country come from Cloudflare, based on the visitor’s IP address; we don’t store the IP address itself. We keep the 50 most recent views per link.
• Payment details: Razorpay processes all payments. We receive the Razorpay payment ID and the amount. We never see or store card numbers, UPI IDs or bank details.

On your own device

• Your browser remembers your cookie choice, the links and cards you made on this device (so you can find your tracker again), which links you already opened (so your own previews aren’t counted twice), and, after a Premium payment, your unlock code until you finish your link. This stays on your device; you can clear it by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

We never ask for your email address, phone number or an account to use the free tools. If you email us, we receive your email address and message so we can reply.

2. How we use it

• To show your link, e-card or Premium link to the person you send it to
• To show you your tracker or dashboard (opens and the Yes; for Premium also approximate location and device)
• To check Premium payments and unlock the link you paid for
• To understand how the site is used and improve it (Google Analytics)
• To show ads that pay for the free tools
• To prevent abuse, for example by limiting automated requests

We don’t sell your personal information.

3. Cookies, analytics and ads

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-HDVZBTE0GC) to see which pages and options people use, for example how many links are created and which question wording is most popular. Our own analytics events never include names, questions or messages, and when someone opens a link we report the page without the part of the address that holds them.

How your choice works: if you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, analytics cookies stay off until you press Accept in the cookie banner; until then Google’s Consent Mode sends only anonymous, cookieless signals. Everywhere else, analytics cookies are on by default and you can turn them off with Decline. Advertising cookies are off everywhere unless you accept. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer. You can also use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Google AdSense

Some pages show ads from Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet. If you press Decline, we ask Google to show only non-personalised ads.

You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google’s Ads Settings, and out of some other vendors’ cookies at www.aboutads.info. Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland see Google’s consent message before personalised ads are used. Learn more in how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

No ads on the pages people open from your links. The recipient’s question, e-card and tracker pages never load ads, and they don’t show the cookie banner.

4. Services we use

• Cloudflare Workers and D1 store link, e-card and Premium data and provide approximate location for Premium views. Cloudflare privacy policy
• Razorpay processes Premium payments. Razorpay privacy policy
• Google Analytics and Google AdSense for analytics and advertising. Google privacy policy
• jsDelivr serves the open-source QR code library, only when you open a QR code.
• Hostinger hosts the website and keeps standard server logs (IP address, page requested, time, browser).

Our fonts are served from our own site, so no font requests go to third parties.

5. How long we keep data, and security

• Links, e-cards and Premium links don’t expire, so we keep their data until you ask us to delete it.
• Premium view history is limited to the 50 most recent views per link.
• Everything is sent over HTTPS and stored on Cloudflare’s infrastructure.

No method of sending or storing data is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

6. Children

The site isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. Premium purchases must be made by an adult or with a parent’s permission. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Your rights and choices

• Access and deletion: email us the link or its ID and we’ll tell you what we hold, or delete it, including any Premium photo.
• Analytics and ads: use “Cookie settings” in the footer, or clear this site’s data in your browser to choose again.
• Personalised ads: use Google Ads Settings.

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act), you may have more rights. Contact us to use them.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change how the site handles data, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
